Pastor Jean Clouzet and Tammy have the privilege of pastoring the Wichita South Seventh-day Adventist church.
And their ministry would not be possible without their shared love and the unconditional support of their extended family.
Jean and Tammy love being parents side by side while playing, teaching, and seeing the world through their children's eyes.
Jean has been in ministry for 18 years, is an ordained minister with undergraduate and graduate degrees in theology and languages. He was born in Argentina and enjoys getting to know people of all backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives. He loves in all types of healthy food and forms of communication and participating in group sports and physical activities.
Jean is passionate about growing young communities of faith and hopes you will join ours here at Wichita South!
As a licensed mental health therapist and artist, Tammy enjoys helping people of all backgrounds and walks of life realize that our Creator called us to create and be creative. Embracing that process can lead us to better mental health and a fulfilled realization of our value to God and the value we should place on ourselves as we let go of perfectionism and embrace the reality of living as redeemed children of God.
Our pastoral team loves being led by the Holy Spirit into opportunities that lead people to Jesus. They also want to help families grow around Jesus through genuine mutual and active discipleship.
Jean and Tammy are very excited to call Wichita South home, and they sincerely hope it will become part of yours.
As High-school Sweethearts, Pastor Fred and his wife return as Alumnus' from WAJA to the WACA that their 9 year old son Moses now attends today. Their journey began as youth directors for 7 years, Bible workers for 2 years and pastor for 3. That journey took them full circle from Nebraska City to Kansas City back to Wichita South where they hope to remain till Jesus returns.
Dennise’s life experiences have always been in partnership with ministry to young people. When she is not with them, she is a mother, singer and co-laborer in the gospel.
Moses loves macaroni and cheese.
Lynnette and Deryk have been serving in various ways in the Wichita South SDA Church since they were married in 2011.
Lynnette and Deryk met in 5th Grade at Jefferson Elementary, and while their journey at the time led them away from one another, circumstances twisted their paths back together. Lynnette has been in ministry in various ways for as long as she can remember. She has worked in the church nursery, participated on her church worship team while obtaining her bachelor's degree from Emporia State University, led AWANAs, served as the Christian Educational Director for some time, led many women's Bible studies, and decorated for many church events. One of her greatest passions is loving on people and making them feel seen.
Deryk grew up in the Wichita South SDA Church. He attended WAJA with Pastor Fred and Dennise. He provides for his family by running their family-owned business, Scarlett Arrow Credit Repair. Deryk also serves as the Men's Ministry Coordinator.
Lynnette and Deryk have a full house with children Samantha, Jaxon, and Natalee and soon-to-be-added son-in-love, Tyler.
